A Charmed Life

I want to be a Thomas Sabo copywriter. Whenever I receive press releases from them, it’s like a being the recipient of reverse Mad Libs. How would you link all these nouns into a cohesive story? Thomas Sabo just released a new collection called Charm Club 5 and this is the copy that came along with it:

Cruise me, Baby!
First an ice-cream from the diner, then into your smart convertible and off to Hollywood Boulevard. 90° Fahrenheit. The wind in your hair. The sun catching your sunglasses. Touch up your nail polish at the traffic lights – after all, you have a date on the Walk of Fame. Because there is a very special star being unveiled today: yours! The THOMAS SABO Charm Club is now offering the Dream Factory for your wrist.

The Fashion Geek version:
Driving in the car listening to 60s music along Pedder Street. Pick up some shopping and Alain Mikli sunglasses and Swarovski flowers. Head over to TST’s Avenue of Stars and go to Sa Sa Cosmetics for nail polish and lipstick. See a fake Statue of Liberty in Mong Kok and go home for ice-cream.

  1. Haha, I love the FG version! I used to be a Thomas Sabo fan, but those charm things can get addicting and aren't that cheap. I did get my first ones in the IFC store, but I'm starting to prefer their other jewelry instead.

  2. Heheh the Fashion Geek version is preferable, anyone who refers to a charm bracelet as a factory of dreams doesn't really live in the real world tho! Can't deny those charms are pretty nonetheless!
