Original Nasty

Everyone's favourite bad-ass brand Nasty Gal has just launched its very own designed collection. Those deep-V off-shoulder '80s-remixed cocktails dresses in black and red simply call to me. Wouldn't kick a sheer moto jacket out of bed, either.

Hit it here.

Bag Lady: Fendi

It's been a LONG time since I've been excited by a Fendi bag and so I was super surprised to discover the Fendi 2Jour which is gorgeous with its simple structure, clean lines and contrast side panels. Of course, as Christina will attest, the fact that it's army green certainly helps as I'm somewhat of a green lover. Nice work Fendi, keep em coming please!

SHOErotica: Giuseppe Zanotti Red Pumps

There are shoes that propose a new silhouette, then there are the shoes that stick to variations on a formula. As a rule, formula will earn a brand buyers and street cred -- but it's the rule breakers that have a chance of making fashion history, of setting the direction of tomorrow's winds.

These -- red pumps almost as classic as they come, both from Giuseppe Zanotti -- most definitely don't do anything to upset the status quo, but that doesn't stop them from being total show-stoppers.

Get them here and here.

Calvin Klein Push Positive

I came home the other day to the most lovely package from Calvin Klein comprising of their latest Push Positive bras. While some might find the bras plain, I loved them for it's simplicity and ease. Of particular note is the soft-wire which made them super comfy, almost like wearing a sports bra but with push up support. Lara Stone will be the face of the Push Positive ad campaign so expect to see her everywhere starting September. PS I don't know whether or not to find it slightly disturbing that the PR somehow knew my size.

Ocean Deep

A little bit obsessed with Sachajuan's Ocean Mist, which you spritz in your tresses to give it extra body and that whole I-just-went-surfing-and-my-hair-dried-naturally-in-these-beachy-waves look. I'll admit I've never tried any other surf sprays, so I can't say how this compares to other products (I know Bumble & Bumble's Surf Spray is a popular choice), but since my hair is reaching the end of its awkward growing-out phase, this has been a godsend for creating volume and a nice piece-y texture on days I want to wear it down. It's got nearly as much staying power as a hairspray as well, which is surprising to me -- if I don't wash my hair before going to bed, I wake up with the best bedhead the next day. Yays for that. I spent the better part of my 20s trying to work against my natural waves, ion-straightening like there was a going-out-of-business-sale on the technique, and now that I've finally stopped fighting, I realize that all I've needed all of these years was a good bottle of Ocean Mist.

Stop by 10/10 Space or the new 10/10 Hope counter in Eslite (8/F) at Hysan Place to try it out on your hair.

Yuzefi Love

Why on earth anyone would need a hot pink waist-pouch-cum-harness is not the correct question. Why the hell not? Naza Yuzefi designs under the label Yuzefi, and though these are bold pieces, it would appear that the price tag on them is much softer and friendlier. Leather collars go for a smidgeon over US$100; and if only I could find that freaking harness pouch, I'd tell you how much it was, and then I'd buy it, stat. Some of the other stuff is available on Farfetch.

Agyness Deyn for Dr Martens

I was quite surprised to hear that Agyness Deyn was designing a capsule collection for Dr Martens and to see the products that came out of this collaboration. I guess it's a good fit for the brand but yet after looking at the finished designs, I can't help but think that they could have been a bit more daring and less, dare I say it, boring. The only thing that really caught my eye was the reversible bomber jacket and I was hoping that at least the shoes would be some bright edgy colour instead of boring black and burgundy. Clothing and accessory prices range from HK$500 to $3,450. See the products after the cut.

Nice Nooks

The world, it appears, is reading again, thanks to the sadomasochistic fantasies of a British Twilight fan. Who would've thought? Thought we'd look at some reading corner inspiration, little nooks where you can curl up with whatever it is you're consuming -- even if it is more leftover pizza than Tolstoy.
