Never really knew much about this Danish jewellery brand, Pandora. They make charm bracelets, except instead of dangly charms, they're mainly screwed on like beads on a cord (obviously that is a gross distillation of the product line into one category/product).
My knowledge was therefore expanded fairly exponentially after Virginia invited me to a lunch hosted by Pandora (it's a client of her PR firm, insert disclosure text here, yadda yadda yadda, but guess what, I write what I want anyway). The aim of the get-together was to showcase the fall collection via a storybook fashion show. Technically speaking, I've always thought charm bracelets fell into the category of high-school wrist fodder, but with the fad of wearing 3,000 bracelets seeming never to end, that's clearly changing. And, as I mentioned, my assumption that Pandora was a one-trick jewellery brand was clearly off -- rings, earrings, necklaces, oh my, Pandora has them all.
My picks for the upcoming collection are the stackable rings -- thin enough to fit the criteria of delicacy that is currently in vogue, but yet still diverse enough to incorporate a whole myriad of patterns and textures.
