Towards the end of this month we will see the launch of the new Paul Smith fragrance, the limited Rose Summer Edition. One little known fact about the Paul Smith original Rose fragrance is that the rose used in the fragrance is a specially cultivated flower by English botanist, Peter Beales, as a gift to Paul from his wife Pauline. (What’s with the masculine and feminine form of the same name for this couple? It’s slightly off putting) This limited editon for the summer has an additional hint of lemon, green apple and a dash of pink pepper added to the top note to deliver that breezy summer cocktail sensation. The middle note rings of femininity with the Bulgarian Rose absolue, magnolia and violet and dries down to a bottom note of amber, cedar wood and white musk.
