Pata Pata Patapon

So I’ve been scouring the shops for Patapon 2 after having been completely addicted to Patapon for the PSP when it first came out. The European version came out on the 6th and when I rushed to 188 to buy it, every shop was sold out!

If you haven’t played this game before, then it’s definitely a title you should pick up. It's a great game for casual gamers (of course, once you get hooked it may not seem as casual when you are itching to play even when you are at work. But that's a story for another day.) When Patapon first came out, the designers at Rolito didn’t expect to develop such a cult following. The graphics are simple but the concept is brilliant. You are the ultimate deity in charge of a tribe of patapons. The premise is that you have to lead the tribe to victory. How to do so? By beating your drums in the correct rhythm that acts as battle calls. When I first start playing, I didn't think much of it but before  long, the battle calls were stuck in my head and I would just start bobbing my head along with the game. The dialogue is cute and I can’t help but get a kick out of it when I see my patapons hails me as their all mighty ruler. Ranked 9.2/10 by IGN, 9/10 by GameSpot and an A from 1UP.com, expectations are high for Patapon 2. Now the question is, where can I find myself a copy??
