Sometimes right when you think you have nothing to blog about... a giant panda waddles into your inbox. Specifically, a giant panda designed by pop-design wunderkind Jeremy Scott, who one-ups his Adidas Originals line with this new addition, an Eastern take on his teddy-bear sneaks.
Says the press release: "This season’s must-have is the successor of his JS Bear shoes, the new JS Panda Bear. In Spring/Summer 2011, Jeremy made sneaker history when he fused a cuddly teddy bear with a chunky Metro Attitude Hi. His new adidas Originals JS Panda Bear shoes continue the witty trend but look east to China’s giant bamboo eaters for inspiration. Panda graphics also appear on selected apparel pieces of the new line next to Jeremy Scott illustrations on some shirts, allowing his fans to celebrate their idol."
One question: by "their idol," do they mean Jeremy Scott, or the panda?
The collection launches this Friday.
