Geek Peek: Geraldine Howard of Aromatherapy Associates

We hope you enjoyed our last Geek Peek with DSquared's Dan Caten, because we're hot on it heels with another insider chat. This time, we speak to Geraldine Howard, the president and co-founder of Aromatherapy Associates, the aromatherapy-based skincare and wellness brand used at spas like the Mandarin Oriental and Sense of Touch. If you haven't yet, get thee down to one of those locations for a treatment using the products, you'll look like an angel and feel like a rock star immediately afterwards. Geraldine has a hand in designing pretty much all of the products and treatments used by the brand, so you'll have her to thank for your luminous complexion afterwards.

Read on for what's on her lust list (uh, Chanel?), her worst nightmare and most importantly, her secret weapon beauty product.

HKFG: What’s on your lust list?
GH: A new Chanel lipstick, one of the new DKNY summer dresses in their beautiful collection, a laptop holder from luxury British leather brand, Pickett.

HKFG: What fashion item can’t you live without
GH: Beautiful scarves – I think they are a wonderful way of adding colour and bringing an outfit to life.

HKFG: Name your favourite thing about Hong Kong.

GH: The Landmark Mandarin Oriental –- it’s spectacular.

HKFG What's your secret ambition?
GH: Having a week’s holiday not glued to my blackberry! But it’s probably never going to happen –- I’m definitely a blackberry addict!

HKFG: What is your ultimate indulgence food or go-to food when you’re stressing out?
GH: A glass of champagne and a piece of chocolate!

HKFG: What waws your first big investment purchase?
GH: A house.

HKFG: What you would wish for if a genie came out of a lamp to grant you three wishes?
GH: More hours in a day, a swimming pool at my house and an Armani spending spree!

HKFG: What is your secret-weapon beauty product?

GH: Our Overnight Repair Mask. I designed it partly for selfish reasons as I travel so much that I needed a low-maintenance product that made my skin look instantly more radiant -- it really is a miracle worker.

HKFG: What is your worst nightmare?
GH: Being delayed at airports! It feels like such a waste of time.
