The Big Bangle Theory
As the weather warms up, my bangles come out to play. My theory is that huge bangles slims down my arms hence it’s the perfect summer accessory when I have to reveal my chubby arms. Naturally, with the new season, I’d like to add on to the collection and when I took a spin at Lane Crawford, I discovered Miriam Salat’s bangles. The designer herself has an interesting history having started her career designing airports, and highways, as a New York City civil engineer, while the brand offers a wide variety of resin, sterling silver and 18kt gold vermeil bangles in various shapes. As mentioned, I’m more of a chunky bangle kinda girl but if you prefer the slim elegant kinds, the nude basic bangle can do no wrong. Prices range from $1,600 to $7,500.
