Alexander Wang can do no wrong yet his latest fall/winter campaign which was launched by projecting videos from trucks onto buildings last week left me feeling a bit meh. Mostly it’s because the film spazzes by with Raquel Zimmermann wearing his clothes in a gritty environment yet not really showcasing his clothes. Too many cut scenes later and I just ended up with a headache. Loved the idea, not so much the execution. Now I just gotta hunt up the clothing to see it again to refresh my memory. Of course, perhaps this is his intention, to sustain the momentum longer than that one minute video clip. In which case, boy genius has done it again.
