Starting this month, Harlan’s will be celebrating its 5th birthday with a host of special promotions. I haven’t been back to the restaurant since Harlan was ousted last year but I hear that the food is still pretty good. The restaurant will be offering a special HK$555 menu of signature dishes which includes the 'Magic Mushroom' cappuccino and porcini cookie, hand-crafted penne with sweet onion, tomato cream, Russian vodka and parmesan, a choice of signature wood-stone roasted Tuscan beef steak with rocket and white truffle dressing or roast spring chicken with chicken sausage and pancetta mushroom sauce and a Valrhona warm chocolate cake, chocolate soup and rum raisin ice-cream. For groups of five (finally, an incentive to let the fifth wheel tag along), complimentary oysters or appetizers will be served. Until September 30.
