I don’t know about you but I’ve been missing my Tim Gunn. What with the legal battle between Lifetime and Bravo, Project Runway has been off the air for way too long. However, in 8 days (yes I’m counting) my beloved Tim Gunn will be back on the small screen and making it work with a new crop of designers. One of the contestants, Louise Black, recently launched a capsule accessories collection for Shrimpton Couture. Her pieces are very reminiscent of the flapper era. Surprisingly, Black started her career in clinical lab sciences and in 2000, left her job to pursue her passion for fashion. She started by upcycling vintage clothing and her work focuses on the Victorian and Edwardian era. It’d be interesting to see how long she’ll last in Project Runway. See her creations after the cut.
