Shu Uemura has just released their latest summer colours and this season, this funky beauty brand goes back to the classic for inspiration. Chief make-up artist Yuki Asano draws upon the key accessories of ancient pharaohs of Egypt to the glamour of Hollywood screen goddesses to create a delightful palette of intoxicating colours worthy of sapphires, emeralds, rubies and diamonds. Says Yuki, “In creating this make-up look, I imagined a woman who knows how to play and dress up in gems. She is sophisticated and classy but with a whimsical streak.” Available starting May 31, the collection features a limited edition flawless glow powder compact to glitter eye shadows, cream eye shadow and lip colour.
