Jean Paul Gaultier really is going to the masses this time. After the Piper Heidsieck collaboration that he did earlier, he’s now signed on to be Diet Coke’s European creative director and is appearing in a series of short films for the brand portraying a journalist, therapist and private detective solving a puppet’s wardrobe dilemmas. No word on why the puppet is named Irene but I found the film to be quite cute. His first limited-edition designs will launch in Europe starting next month. Stay tuned for part two of the film.
