Haven't gotten a chance to go through all of the footwear from FW2013... have no idea how fashion people trawl through everything, much less attend all the shows. Two of the shoe options that have caught my eye come from Mr Wang at Balenciaga and Mr Slimane at Saint Laurent, both new designers at the helm of heritage brands. Love the urban edge Wang brings to the brand, with the crackled leather, and can't ever turn down a heel with copious toe cleavage. Cover your boobs, show your toes. And also appreciating the rocker-biker edge of the Saint Laurent boots. I don't particularly enjoy the clothing, but the accessories are good -- does Hedi Slimane even design those? Anyway, it's a new era in fashion, that's for sure.
