An Alchemy of Colour and Magic

Looking for some whimsy, romance and fun in your jewellery? Jan Logan may be the answer. The Australian jewellery brand's latest collection was inspired by the 2001 French comedy Amelie, where a young naive French waitress decides to help others to improve their situation. Managing director Angus Logan, the designer's son was recently in town to present the collection in the boutique at IFC mall. And like the romantic film, Jan Logan's pieces has some fun in the use of colours and stones. A standout is the 18K South Sea pearl that dangles from a necklace made of tiny citrine beads strung together and can be worn in various ways. Another are citrine and amethyst rings that look simple in design but exude confidence and sophistication. They also come with matching earrings. We also love the sparkly cocktail rings named after Audrey Tautou who plays Amelie. The rings feature large green amethyst or smoky quartz lined with small diamonds. The rings would go well with the "Out of Rio" necklace, a string of various stones in turquoise, coffee brown, green and beige.

Prices start from around HK$5,000.
