There’s something sinfully delightful about Movenpick ice-cream. I used to beg my parents to take me to the Hong Kong Jockey Club just so that I can get my fill of their chocolate ice-cream. And I’m so excited to hear that come December, Movenpick will be launching the first of their gastronomy range flavours, the Cognac VSOP, to Hong Kong. Only available exclusively at selected five-star hotels and fine-dining restaurants in Hong Kong, the ice-cream won’t be served by itself but rather incorporated into desserts created by the restaurants chefs de cuisine. The cognac VSOP used in the ice-cream is from Charente, the only region to produce Cognac in France and Movenpick promises that every taste is infused with the fruity and floral notes of a superior cognac VSOP flavour. I, for one, can’t wait.
