Post New Year's Food Coma







Happy New Year Geeks! Did you all have a great holiday season? We've been eating nonstop this break. Check out some of the photos above. Now to try to rein in the eating until a few weeks later when it's CNY. Any must eats or new discoveries over the holiday? Most interesting for me was probably the Chinese take on Scotch eggs with preserved egg. Found it in a Thai restaurant of all things in Shau Kei Wan. The food from the rest of the joint wasn't that great but this was an interesting idea and serves up as inspiration for me to try it at home with a bit more meat and to see if I can make any other variations of Scotch eggs!
