The beginning of this year has been really overwhelming for some reason. Hitting the ground running doesn't exactly describe it... it's more like starting off behind, and having to play catch up. I'm in dire need of an assistant, although what I do doesn't really warrant an assistant. I mean, come on. There's no real reason I can't get my expenses done, or file my taxes, or reply emails in a timely manner. My life has become a pile of to-do lists, whether on my device, on random slips of paper strewn across my desk, or on the back of my hand.
I guess if an assistant costs too much, a Smythson leather diary seems sort of more economical. And more realistic than actually learning how to sync my iCal. And even if it doesn't improve my organizational skills, it's pretty freaking beautiful anyway.
