Fueling my belief that the Japanese likes to lure my hard earned money by creating the most kawaii but technically useless things is Takara Tomy's AutoMee S. Reminiscent of the Roomba vacuum cleaners, the AutoMee is basically a mini version for cleaning your iPhone, iPad, Galaxy S and Notes etc. From what I can gather, the AutoMee has a sensor that allows it to detect the edge of the screen and so will automatically rotate to other parts of the surfaces. It retails for about HK$130 and just launched in Japan last month so I'm sure we'll be seeing it at CitySuper very soon. What do you think? Would you pay money for this cute but frivolous purchase?
