Turns out the b.liv Absolute Matte Mask contains mint so after the initial surprise at pulling out a black mask instead of the usual white, I plopped it on and my face instantly felt an awesome cooling sensation. The main functions of the mask are oil control for those pesky t-zones, clarifying and hydrating. Apparently the sheet is a charcoal mask sheet (hence the black) and the idea is that it acts like a magnet to draw out deep dwelling pore-cloggers while purifying the skin. Loved the sensation, just be careful about the essence getting into the eyes. Not sure having bloodshot eyes with a black mask on is the best idea.
Key Ingredients:
1) Retinyl Palmitate
Regulate sebum secretion and stimulate skin regeneration.
2) Zinc Sulfate
Combat excess sebum, control surface shine while clarifying the complexion.
3) Willow Bark Extract
Used as exfoliants to lift away impurities, with blemish-control properties.
Usage:
Leave the mask for 15 minutes. Gently massage the remaining essence for 30 seconds, leave it for another 30 seconds for complete absorption.
Absolute Matte retails at $168 for 1 box (7 pieces). Available at all Sa Sa outlets
