About damn time this shoe appeared in this column. I'm fascinated by the ways in which Valentino has continued to reinvent this shoe in subtle ways, whether it's texturizing the leather or doing tone-on-tone studs -- always staying in tune with the Valentino brand values but at the same time pushing forward and giving the customer something to look forward to. So, maybe having studs the same colour as the leather on your shoe doesn't mean that much to some people. But it certainly does here.
