SHOErotica: Spring 2012 Round-up

Fashion month isn't over yet, but there's mucho footwear goodness flying our way next Spring. White footwear was all over the place, and surprisingly, turquoise was also a focal hue, especially when accented with gold -- can't wait for those to hit shelves. And super jealous of Leighton Meester who already got to wear the Burberry wedges, piping hot off the runway. Of course, there's plenty of other footwear fun to be had, whether it's on-trend mint (with sort of MBT-esque offerings from Christopher Kane -- not my style but admittedly orthopedically fantastic, probably) or ladylike pointy-toed floral pumps (at Erdem but also, more surprisingly, edgy Altuzarra) or toe cleavage galore via plastic-fantastic clear vinyl strategically paneled into shoes (slightly stripper-esque, but at least heel heights are getting more reasonable). Of course, old standbys were still there: ever-chic snakeskin, or two-toned lookers. Enjoy here our Geek's Guide to Spring 2012 shoe trends so far!
