Quick. If I mention the brand Hogan, what would your first association be? Mine would be shoes suitable for Asian men as they have a rather thick built-in sole. And I am not being fastidious. I have a family friend who ONLY wears Hogan shoes because it boosts his height by a good two to three inches when he wears those shoes. Hogan shoes are renowned for their comfort and their rather sporty style which was why I hadn’t expect this partnership to blossom; Hogan will be collaborating with Karl Lagerfeld for their coming Spring Summer 2011 collection. Unfortunately, no images are available yet so we’ll just have to wait a bit longer before we see what genius or disaster the man who some worship as fashion’s God comes up with.
