Having started out as a costume designer, Maria found herself more interested in the aspects of jewellery design and became a freelance jewellery designer in 1999. Based in Italy, Maria now showcases her work in art galleries around Europe and plans on turning her hand at sculptures as a bigger medium for her artistic expression.
