Want to do turkey with a bunch of friends for American Thanksgiving and/or Christmas but don't have an oven? Blue Butcher may have the answer for you.
The restaurant in Sheung Wan offers a great deal for a party of eight -- turkey and dessert for HK$1,680. So if you order drinks and appetisers, like duck and ham hock terrine, jarred foie gras and chicken liver, and organic smoked beetroot, then you're good to go.
The turkey arrives at the table already carved so all you have to do is open your mouth and chew. The meat is succulent and tasty, and is accompanied with some mashed potato and stuffing.
Be sure to save room for dessert -- it's chef Danny Chaney's mother's recipe for pumpkin pie. It's so good you have to prevent yourself from inhaling it to savour the dessert that isn't too sweet and is accompanied with cinnamon-spiked cream.
