There are times when I reconnect with my old school mates, I feel like such an underachiever. Case in point, the amazing Nic who has moved to New York (after having lived in Hong Kong (duh), Germany, Singapore, Switzerland, San Francisco and London) and now designs gorgeous jewellery that I lust after. I grabbed him for a quick chat and read on to see who his favourite celebrity to dress is and other fun facts.
HKFG: What’s on your lust list?
NL: Mine cut diamonds, these are old antique diamonds which have a wonderful gentle sparkle to them. Anything from Haider Ackerman F/W 14 menswear, and Pierre hardy high top sneakers
HKFG: What fashion item can’t you live without?
NL:My super thick double sided cashmere scarf, its like a small blanket and great for traveling
HKFG: What’s your favorite thing about Hong Kong?
NL:The efficiency of the Hong Kong transport system, its so easy and affordable to get around the city
HKFG: What’s the song that you sing in the shower?
NL: I don’t sing in the shower, I perform my rendition of ‘And I am telling you’
HKFG: Your ultimate indulgence food or go-to food when you’re stressing out?
NL:I would like to tell you organic vegetable juice…but really its cake…cheesecake.
HKFG: Which celebrity did you have the best experience dressing and why?
NL: Rihanna for this year's Grammy’s, she wore amidst other rings, my diamond pave grid ring (bottom ring on the right in the image above). She has a great unique style and does not shy away from bold choices.
HKFG: Name your secret-weapon beauty product.
Organic cold pressed Coconut oil. It’s a great moisturizer!
HKFG: Last thing you think about before going to sleep?
NL: Whether it is really time to sleep…I reel off what I need to do the next day like many other people and it keeps me awake!
