Geek Peek: Tory Burch

The Geeks are going out to play tonight with Tory Burch as she comes to Hong Kong to celebrate the launch of her Greater China stores (we covered her ifc opening last November and now there is a Harbour City store and another one in Beijing opening soon.) In anticipation of the party, we talk to Tory about the things she could live without but still can’t bear to part with, her favourite thing about Hong Kong and the song she sings in the shower.

TB: Sunglasses

TB: To produce a movie

TB: “Beast of Burden” by the Rolling Stones

HKFG: What is your ultimate indulgence food or restaurants you go-to when you’re stressing out?
TB: Favorite indulgence: Ordering in truffle pizza from Serafina with my boys.
Stressing out: I love Sushi of Gari—it’s very zen and calming.

HKFG: What you would wish for if a genie came out of a lamp to grant you 3 wishes?
TB: My childrens’ and family’s happiness, peace, ten more hours in the day

HKFG: What’s your secret-weapon beauty product?
TB: Tracie Martyn Shakti Body Cream and Patricia Wexler Tinted Moisturizer

HKFG: What’s the last thing you think about before going to sleep?
TB: My children

HKFG: What’s your favourite iPhone app?
TB: I don’t have an iPhone, but I love the New York mag app for iPads…and also the New Yorker and 60 Minutes apps.

HKFG: Which celebrity you would most like to be/trade places with?
TB: George Clooney
