Geek Spy: Organ Donor

So I thought I'd seen the weirdest thing you could make plushie when I came across the giant plush microbes on ThinkGeek. I was wrong. Microbes are not gross or macabre, they are cute and fluffy and occasionally educational. Lungs in a jar are not adorable, they are icky and also not cuddly in bed. And they are also the same creepy pink as hamster fetuses that have yet to grow fur and are liable to be eaten by their own mother.

And so, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you body parts in jars, the specialty of Etsy seller Your Organ Grinder, who recreates various body organs, from the heart to the eyeball, out of felt. What, like you don't want a brain hairclip? Or a kidney brooch? Or a tapeworm coming out of a cassette tape? Or a uterus in a jar? Or a flat testicle necklace? Yeah, that's what I thought. You don't know why, but you are clicking here to visit the site. YOU FREAK.

  1. Ok, and I thought the baby wedding dresses were weird! This takes home the most weird-creepy award! Did you see the eyeballs as earrings? Although it gives me an idea for Halloween...
