Tote-ally Cool

If you have any interest in homegrown Hong Kong designers, then you will already know about Mischa Design. The adorable Michelle caught our eyes with her incredibly chic obis and matching clutches, and hasn't really looked back since. Lately, though, I've been more taken with her travel collection, whose totes hang in the showroom of Gizzy & Nacho, aka a place I hang out so often I recognize every. single. piece. of merchandise. Anyway, a bunch of the colourful bags hang on a rod in the corner, sort of like a magical tree of fashion that bears fabulous Goyard-style unstructured totes instead of, like, pears or whatever. The beauty of the unstructured tote, and the reason I'm guessing it's part of a travel collection, is that it's damn near weightless. After a day lugging hardware all around town on your shoulder, you'll appreciate what I mean. And it's nice to have a clutch/passport holder/foreign currency bag/envelope thingie in the matching print too -- shall I mention how cute the print is? Very retro, very kaleidoscopic, totally mesmerizing -- loving it.
