Nadaman nadaman nada-mighty good-man

Besides the Japanese restaurant in the Kowloon Shangri-La, does anyone know what else my header refers to? Or am I indulging only myself with these gratuitous references to the hip-hop-girl-group revolution of the 1990s? Anyway, Nadaman is a great and chic little business lunch place if you happen to work out in TST East, or if you happen to be in that area for whatever odd reason. And that business lunch just got cheaper (and an extra 15% cheaper if you "mai dan" before 12:30pm).

What's special is that this bento box is the real deal -- no california rolls or udon with Hello-Kitty logo fish cakes. You can choose a traditional Ten-shin lunch set, charcoal-grilled pork loin steak set, salmon steeak, or Ju-tori Nyumen -- I don't even know what that is, so it must be authentic -- among others, all priced between HK$150-HK$250. They say a picture's worth a thousand words, so hopefully the image above will do the talking.

Nadaman is at 64 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Tel: 852 2733 8751.

  1. Well, if you actually spelled "mighty" correctly, then I would've been able to tell you right away that it's en vogue!
